Can I use MEGA for free?
Yes, our free plan includes !{freePlanStorage} of storage. You can upgrade to our Pro plans for more storage and transfer quota, and extra features like more security for your links.
How much storage would I need?
Documents don’t take up much space, but media files like photos and videos do. If you’re planning on securely storing a lot of files, especially large ones, then one of our Pro plans would be best for your needs.
What is transfer quota?
Transfer is the amount of data consumed by downloading or streaming files from MEGA. Free accounts have a small, limited amount, and Pro accounts are allocated a much higher capacity.
What payment methods can I use?
MEGA accepts payments in the form of credit and debit cards, Bitcoin, and vouchers provided by our official resellers.
Depending on your location, other payment methods may also be available.
What is the difference between Individual and Team plans?
Individual plans are designed for personal use, while our plan for businesses allows much greater flexibility in storage and transfer quota, as well as easy collaboration and a dedicated admin console to manage all users in a business.
What is a Pro Flexi plan?
Pro Flexi is a flexible storage plan billed by how much quota you use each month. The base quota for the plan is set at 3TB of storage and 3TB of transfer quota, billed at €15 per month. If you use any additional storage or transfer beyond your base 3TB, you will be charged €2.50 perTB for the greater of extra storage used or extra transfer used.
For our users who want to store in excess of 16TB this works out at the cheapest price per TB you can find, and our flexibility with costs means this is in high demand by those with lots of data to store.
