[Top 5] Warframe Best Incarnon Weapons Ranked (And How To Get Them) (2024)

Incarnon weapons are one of the newest types of weapons introduced in Warframe. Lore-wise these were just ceremonial tools, hunting weapons, and even farming tools. But the Void has imbued them with its mystic powers and now, they’re as good as any modern weapon you could get. Possibly even better.

Gameplay-wise, they are meant to act as a counter to the new powerful enemies on the Zariman like the Thrax Centurions and the Void Angels themselves.

Make no mistakes though, these are amazing weapons all-round and work well in a lot of circ*mstances outside of the Zariman,

What makes them special is their ability to transform and evolve.

Performing a certain task in a mission will allow your Incarnon weapon to transform into its Incarnon mode. This mode improves your weapon in various ways. Oftentimes it even changes what kind of weapon it is (i.e. semi-auto weapons transforming into full-auto).

Completing other specific actions will allow you to evolve your Incarnon weapon by visiting Cavalero in the Zariman. Evolutions give your weapon additional buffs, but the best thing about them is that you get to choose what evolutions you want on your weapon. Each Incarnon weapon can undergo 5 evolutions. You can also switch which evolutions you have equipped by going back to Cavalero to match how you want to engage in a mission.

There are currently only five Incarnon weapons in the game and here they are ranked:

Note: The stats mentioned in each of the weapon entries are their stats in their base form. Those stats will differ when they transform into their Incarnon form, and will also change depending on what Incarnon Evolutions you choose for that specific weapon. If you want to have more details about the stat changes, you can check out each weapon’s wiki.

5. Phenmor

[Top 5] Warframe Best Incarnon Weapons Ranked (And How To Get Them) (1)

Shoot to grow

Oddly enough, despite being available way later than the Laetum, the Phenmor falls short of the pistol and goes in last on this list. It has less potential due to it having less critical and status chances. The Laetum’s Incarnon mode also gives it crowd control capabilities through AoE, something the Phenmor lacks.

Its Incarnon mode transforms it from a semi-auto rifle into an automatic heavy weapon similar to an arch-gun.

To access this mode, you have to land headshots to fill a gauge. It can transform even though the gauge isn’t full, but the gauge acts as the Incarnon mode’s ammo pool, so the higher the gauge, the longer you can maintain Incarnon mode.

Also, note that you need to reach evolution level 1 before you can even activate Incarnon mode. This applies to all Incarnon weapons.

What the Phenmor excels at:

  • Rapid fire:

The Phenmor’s Incarnon mode makes its decent critical and status chances more viable for battle.

  • Headshots:

Due to headshots being a requirement for its Incarnon mode, the Laetum is excellent at dealing massive damage against high-priority enemies. Several of its evolution perks even boost the effectiveness of your headshots to make them even better and for its Inrcarnon mode to trigger sooner.

  • Versatility:

As with all Incarnon weapons, the Phenmor has up to 5 evolutions, each tier giving you a choice of multiple perks to upgrade your weapon. It’s up to you to decide how you want to strengthen it depending on your playstyle.

Phenmor Stats:

  • Total Base Damage: 140 (70% slash)
  • Fire Rate: 3
  • Critical Chance: 20%
  • Critical Multiplier: 2x
  • Status Chance: 20%

4. Laetum

[Top 5] Warframe Best Incarnon Weapons Ranked (And How To Get Them) (4)

The ultimate confetti cannon

The Laetum is currently the only secondary Incarnon weapon available. Technically, it isn’t even fully a secondary weapon. Its Incarnon mode transforms it from a semi-auto pistol into an automatic rifle.

In Incarnon mode, the shots will deal pure impact damage before exploding and dealing radiation splash damage.

The Laetum accesses the Incarnon form similarly to the Phenmor, by performing headshots to fill up a gauge which will act as the Incarnon form’s ammo pool.

What the Laetum excels at:

  • Being an AoE rifle:

The Laetum’s Incarnon mode is a fantastic crowd-control weapon with each shot dealing AoE damage. Since the AoE damage itself is radiation damage, this can also make your enemies turn against themselves, further spreading further chaos.

  • Blowing heads up:

Since it also focuses on headshots to trigger its Incarnon mode, the Laetum is great at taking down tanky enemies. Many of its evolution perks also revolve around making your headshots more efficient and maximizing its Incarnon mode.

  • Versatility:

As with all Incarnon weapons, the Laetum has up to 5 evolutions, each tier giving you a choice of multiple perks to upgrade your weapon. It’s up to you to decide how you want to strengthen it depending on your playstyle.

Laetum Stats:

  • Total Base Damage: 160 (60% slash)
  • Fire Rate: 2.5
  • Critical Chance: 22%
  • Critical Multiplier: 2.2x
  • Status Chance: 22%

3. Innodem

[Top 5] Warframe Best Incarnon Weapons Ranked (And How To Get Them) (7)

The embiggening dagger

The Innodem is a dagger with decent critical and stat chance. But we all know that’s not its main attraction.

For the Innodem, the Incarnon Form is triggered by performing a Heavy Attack while your combo counter is at 5x or higher and will last for 90 seconds.

While in Incarnon mode, the Innodem gains increased range and attack speed. Attacking while airborne while in this mode will fire projectiles. Also, when performing Finishers in this mode, you will receive a buff called Incarnon Resilience which gives you a 10% damage reduction (it can be stacked 4 times and will last until the Innodem reverts to normal).

Unlike long-range Incarnon weapons, you can’t trigger the Innodem’s Incarnon mode before reaching the 5x combo counter. It can be a real hassle to reach it, so I advise using attack speed and combo count-adding mods. The fourth evolution also has a perk you can choose that lowers the requirement to 3x.

What the Innodem excels at:

  • Being a sword:

The Incarnon Form of the Innodem basically turns the dagger into a sword. It doesn’t even become slower, the Incarnon Form makes the Innodem faster. Also, the increased attack range makes the Innodem’s Incarnon mode have the longest reach of all melee weapons (4.8 meters). Not bad for a dagger.

  • Bringing the pain:

The Innodem’s base damage ties with the Arca Triton with having the highest base damage among all melee weapons (not counting glaive explosions and gunblade shots), and that’s not even counting the perks from the Incarnon Form’s evolutions that increase its finisher damage or melee damage upon airborne kills. This is a terrifying dagger to be up against.

  • Tanking:

The Incarnon Resilience buff is an incredibly useful tool for increasing your Warframe’s survivability in battle.

  • Versatility:

As with all Incarnon weapons, the Innodem has up to 5 evolutions, each tier giving you a choice of multiple perks to upgrade your weapon. It’s up to you to decide how you want to strengthen it depending on your playstyle.

Innodem Stats:

  • Total Base Damage: 360 (50% slash)
  • Attack Speed: 0.75
  • Critical Chance: 22%
  • Critical Multiplier: 2x
  • Status Chance: 22%

2. Felarx

[Top 5] Warframe Best Incarnon Weapons Ranked (And How To Get Them) (10)

From shotgun to akimbo real quick

This is a really unique one. Incarnon weapons tend to transform into a weapon type that’s one step higher than their base form. From pistol to rifle, from dagger to sword, from rifle to arch-gun. But a weapon that goes from a shotgun to dual-pistols? Unconventional to say the list.

Hey, it works though.

The Felarx also uses headshots to trigger its Incarnon mode. In this mode, it is now a pair of semi-automatic pistols that mostly deal radiation damage. It gains an increasedcritical multiplier and status chance per projectile (though it loses its multishot).

What the Felarx excels at:

  • Filling up the Incarnon gauge quickly:

Note that the Incarnon gauge fills up for “each projectile” that lands the headshot. Since its base form is a shotgun, the Felarx has an innate multishot of 4. If all 4 of those pellets hit your target’s head, they will all count in making the gauge rise faster.

The shotgun mode’s pellets also don’t spread too much, giving you the accuracy you need to easily be able to land headshots with multiple pellets.

  • Piercing bodies:

The Felarx has infinite punch through against enemy bodies (both in base and Incarnon mode). So, if you can line up your targets, you can pump them full of lead all at once.

  • Versatility:

As with all Incarnon weapons, the Felarx has up to 5 evolutions, each tier giving you a choice of multiple perks to upgrade your weapon. It’s up to you to decide how you want to strengthen it depending on your playstyle.

Felarx Stats:

  • Total Base Damage: 760 (44% slash)
  • Fire Rate: 3
  • Critical Chance: 20%
  • Critical Multiplier: 2x
  • Status Chance: 5.5%

1. Praedos

[Top 5] Warframe Best Incarnon Weapons Ranked (And How To Get Them) (13)

Farming is no joke

Yes, apparently those two wicked-looking blades were supposed to be farming tools. Admittedly, they were intended to have some self-defense capabilities because the farmers who designed them were not allowed to make weapons. So they modified their “tools” to make things like these.

TOTALLY not weapons.

Like the Innodem, the Praedos’ Incarnon mode is triggered by performing a heavy attack when your combo counter is at 5x or higher and lasts 90 seconds. The default bonuses this mode grants are additional attack range and attack speed.

What the Praedos excels at:

  • Parkour:

Yeah, you read that right. Equipping the Praedos increases your Bullet Jump power by 20%. Also, several of the perks from its evolutions involve improving your mobility by increasing sprint speed, slide, parkour velocity, and double jump strength.

  • Reaching far:

The Praedos’ increased range upon entering Incarnon mode makes it have the second-highest reach among all melee weapons (4.5 meters).

  • Versatility:

As with all Incarnon weapons, the Praedos has up to 5 evolutions, each tier giving you a choice of multiple perks to upgrade your weapon. It’s up to you to decide how you want to strengthen it depending on your playstyle.

Praedos Stats:

  • Total Base Damage: 200 (80% slash)
  • Attack Speed: 1.17
  • Critical Chance: 20%
  • Critical Multiplier: 2x
  • Status Chance: 20%
